Accessibility Statement
Last updated September 4, 2026
We want everyone to be able to shop here, including people using screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or voice control.
Our standard
We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA, the technical standard referenced by the Americans with Disabilities Act and required under Section 508. We believe the site currently meets that standard.
What we've built in
- Every function works by keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator on each control
- A skip link jumps straight past the navigation to the main content
- The cart panel is a proper dialog: focus moves into it, stays inside while it's open, Escape closes it, and focus returns to where you were
- Cart changes are announced to screen readers through a live region
- Text and interface colors meet or exceed the 4.5:1 contrast requirement
- Pages reflow without horizontal scrolling down to 320 pixels wide and at 200% zoom
- Images carry alternative text, form fields carry labels, and page structure uses real headings and landmarks
- Animation is subtle by default and turns off entirely when your system requests reduced motion
How we test
We audit every page with the axe accessibility engine against WCAG 2.1 A and AA rules, and we verify keyboard navigation, focus order, and zoom reflow by hand. We re-run these checks whenever we change the site.
Known limitations
Checkout is hosted by Stripe, and payment tracking pages come from carriers such as USPS and UPS. Those pages are outside our control. Both companies publish their own accessibility commitments, and if you hit a barrier on either, tell us — we'll help you complete your order another way, including over email or by phone.
Tell us if something doesn't work
This matters more than the rest of this page. If any part of this site is hard to use, email support@isoelectronics.shop or call (617) 555-0100. Describe what happened and what you were using — we'll reply within two business days, help you finish what you were doing, and fix the underlying problem.
Formal complaints
If our response doesn't resolve things, you can contact the US Department of Justice Civil Rights Division, which enforces the ADA. We'd much rather hear from you directly first.
